ABOUT RAY
Ray Levé is a filmmaker based in New York whose short films have been screened and awarded at festivals including NYSFF, LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, AAIFF, BAM Cinemafest, and DOC NYC. His first narrative short THE TALE OF KIEU won him the Festival Director’s Award at the NYSFF in 2019 and his documentary short DAYS OF BLACK AND YELLOW, produced by Laura Poitras’ Field of Vision, was shortlisted for Britain’s prestigious Grierson Award in 2020. In 2021, Ray served as the co-writer and 1st assistant director for Lotfy Nathan’s feature film HARKA which had its world premiere at Cannes’ Un Certain Regard in 2022.
